SKIN CANCER

BASAL CELL CARCINOMA OR BCC

This is the most common form of skin cancer and the most common cancer in humans. It is a painless, slow growing lesion which is often presents like a new skin growth that does not heal. They often appear on sun exposed areas.

BCC’s almost never spread but they can become locally destructive. The mainstay of treatment is usually surgery, but other treatments are available.

After a full history and examination a diagnosis and treatment plan can be agreed with you.
